Miami River Complex Location

Miami City Commissioners will vote on providing special permission to Chetrit Group and Ari Pearl to provide a complex on the Miami River that is larger than its current zoning. The $1 billion project promises to invest $21 million in public spaces in the area.
The vote will take place on Thursday, October 22nd. The project will be built over 5 phases and will add 1,678 new residential units as well as hotel, retail and office space. The project is located at the former location of Finnegans on the River along the south side of the Miami River, between SW 2nd and SW 3rd Avenue.
The development will be due east of I-95 and promises to make better use of the area under the highway. The public space investment will also impact the upgrade of Jose Marti Park as well.
