Paul George and HistoryMiami have been partnered for the past thirty years to provide tours of historic places around South Florida. The very first tour provided by Paul, while partnered with HistoryMiami, was a downtown Miami walking tour conducted on Saturday, April 30th in 1988.
The tours have been conducted by boat, bus, bike, Segway and foot. Paul’s tours have become a right of passage for anyone wanting to learn Miami’s history. He has long maintained that the downtown walking tour is his favorite to conduct.
To celebrate the thirty-year milestone, HistoryMiami and Paul will be offering his iconic downtown Miami walking tour this Friday, April 20th, 2018 from 6:00 – 7:30pm EDT. You can register for the tour at: http://www.historymiami.org/city-tour/celebrate-historic-downtown-with-dr-george. The tour will begin in the lobby of the museum.
