Andy Sweet
December 19th, 2015
Andy Sweet was a Miami Beach native resident who had a gift for photography. He chose his hometown as his subject and captured Miami Beach in the late 1970s. Unfortunately, Andy was murdered on October 16th, 1982.
Out of this senseless tragedy, Andy left behind a treasure of outstanding photographs capturing a forgotten period in Miami Beach’s history. Below is a list of interesting links about Andy Sweet and his work. If you remember Miami Beach in the 1970s, you certainly will want to check out Andy’s legacy of photographs. Also, I have provided a sample of two of the photographs available from Andy’s collection below the list of links.
