Cover: Vizcaya on Coconut Grove Boat Tour in 2017
HistoryMiami offered a new boat tour of Coconut Grove on Sunday, August 27, 2017. The tour went from Dinner Key to the Rickenbacker Causeway and back. It provided a close look at Vizcaya, the Barnacle and the last stretch of mansions remaining of Millionaire’s Row on Brickell Avenue.
The tour provided a good look at Grove Isle, Mercy Hospital and Ransom Everglades from the water. Dr. Paul George provided tour goers with more information and history than one can possibly remember. When this tour is offered again, I would highly recommend it.
