Hello Casey, do you remember me? Years ago we talked by phone about the history of 2100 South Miami Avenue, our family home my father sold to Carlos Prio, the ex-president of Cuba. Some time ago I subscribed to your on line site and enjoy reading Miami history and recalling growing up life experiences there. I had a business career in Miami beginning in the 1960's and moved to Ponte Vedra Beach in 1996. I read "Miami History" on line each day. I also try to follow news and local developments from on line sites, especially commercial real estate development. Miami is becoming or already is "New York City South" it seems. Amazing! Writing today because I saw the article about Central Baptist Church where my family attended. My father was a friend of Roy Angell, the well known pastor there for many years. What a great name for a pastor! Just thought I should send you this note of appreciation. Haven't been in Miami for two years. I love the memory of growing up there and enjoy the history you publish. Keep up the good work. Ray Ross.
